Day O Productions was founded in Los Angeles in 1990 by Shingo Kidaka.

For over 35 years, we've believed that good work takes time, care, and patience. We approach every project — large or small — with the same attention to detail, working closely with each client to find the right ideas, the right people, and the most thoughtful approach to every shoot and location. Our experience spans 3D production, live recording, and broadcast work with the latest technology — always guided by craft rather than speed.

As a trusted liaison for partnerships and negotiations with production companies abroad, we've supported shoots around the world. We also take pride in building bridges between cultures — introducing talented, up-and-coming international directors and creators to Japan, and Japanese directors to the world. From social media content to talent research, negotiation, and contracts, we're glad to help. We're not bound to any single format; we take the time to do whatever is needed, with care.

Through our sister company, eenie meenie records, we've created music and sound design for advertising of all kinds — from commercial jingles to full campaigns.

In 2021, we completed our own documentary film about a Japanese artist, "Who is Lun*na Menoh?", which went on to be selected for numerous film festivals.

Day O Productionsは、1990年に木高慎吾によってロサンゼルスで設立されました。

35年以上にわたり、私たちは「良い仕事には、時間と丁寧さと根気が必要だ」と信じてきました。プロジェクトの大小に関わらず、同じように細部まで心を配り、お客様一人ひとりと向き合いながら、最適なアイディア、ふさわしい人材、そして撮影やロケーションへの最も丁寧なアプローチをご提案しています。最新技術を用いた3D撮影、ライブ収録、中継の経験も、つねに「速さ」ではなく「丁寧な仕事」を軸に重ねてまいりました。

海外の制作会社との提携·交渉におけるリエゾンとして、世界各地での撮影をサポートしてきました。また、才能あふれる気鋭の海外ディレクターやクリエイターを日本へ、日本の監督を世界へとご紹介する——文化の架け橋となることを、私たちの誇りとしています。ソーシャルメディアコンテンツ、タレントリサーチ、交渉·契約までお手伝いさせて頂いております。ひとつの形態にとどまることなく、必要なことに、時間をかけて、丁寧にお応えしています。

姉妹会社のeenie meenie recordsでは、コマーシャルのジングルから広告全般にわたる音楽·サウンドデザインの制作等をご提供させていただいてきました。

2021年には、自社制作による日本人アーティストのドキュメンタリー映画「Who is Lun*na Menoh?」を完成させ、数多くの映画祭に入選いたしました。
